"The Count of Monte Cristo" tells the story of Edmond Dantes, a young sailor, who is wrongfully imprisoned for a crime he did not commit minutes before his wedding. Locked up in a terrible dungeon, he is befriended by an old man with an incredible secret. Dantes, after many years in darkness, escapes and decides to get revenge on the three men who have ruined his life. This is a shortened version of a thrilling tale of escape, hidden treasure, romantic adventure and cold-blooded revenge.
