The better feenring the Lives and Properties of every Individual. And thus may Government (abftraetedly confider'd, they fay) be' faid to be of Divine Right; but the particular -modes orspecies of Government are left wholly 40 Mankind. That this mull necelfarily be the Origin of Political Authority, they think-is evi dent from allmens being born equal. That Cod has'the fole Authorityover Confcience, and there fore'tis the natural Right of all Mankind to have the Liberty of Worlhipping God'in that Way which they'think molt acceptable to him, _ in, or 'der to their better fecuring'their everlafiinghap fp'inefs. -the evidence of which they think fo g'cl'ear, from the Light of.
