Description

This edition is part of the 100th Anniversary Collection honoring the 100th anniversary of Jack London's death in 1916. An early Jack London book that combines a sailing adventure with a description of life in the San Francisco Bay Area. A young school boy, Joe Bronson, gets tired of school and leaves home to live a more exciting life working aboard a local yacht, the Dazzler. However, he soon finds himself engaged in illegal acts. Containing some realistic storm scenes, the story parallels Jack's own experiences as an young oyster pirate aboard his own boat, the Razzle Dazzle.
