London, 1940. The war is raging across Europe and twenty-three-year-old Grace is devastated by the loss of her husband, Brian, at Dunkirk after only a year of marriage. Author Biography
Beryl Matthews was born in London and now lives near Farnham. After retiring she joined a Writers' Circle and began to see if she could fulfil the dream of becoming a published author. Her first novel was published when she was 71.
