I saw this at Cinefest Oz in WA's South West two years ago and loved it. Admittedly I was in a minority, as the after-screening Q&A revealed many in the audience found it too confusing. My take was that this was an ingenious mockumentary with great performances from Matilda Brown, Rachel Ward and Xavier Samuel (in the title role). Yes, I got lost a few times, but being lost can sometimes reveal marvelous things. “Otto” never got a cinema release (even art house) in WA, which is a pity.
