"All dragons need to have a hoard of treasure... I'm off to find mine." Sounds simple. After all, every dragon has to start sometime and somewhere, but how does one start? With the help and quick-thinking of a young girl, one naive dragon searches a variety of places in pursuit of his own hoard of treasure. He soon stumbles upon a rather unimpressive beginning - one dirty coin - that garners him unwanted attention, yet also leads to a surprising reward. In the end, however, he realizes that the treasure he desires most is not the one he sought.

Author Biography

Jeff Gorbski is a writer, composer, and teacher, who has visited over a dozen countries and has lived in several. He currently resides in China teaching high school students the craft of writing books in English. When he is not writing or teaching, he enjoys visiting museums, collecting and giving away ceramic art, and playing music - all activities which he claims are part of his personal hoard of treasure. Living in Tianjin, China, Zhang Lin is a freelance art illustrator and instructor whose illustrations have appeared in numerous books and other media in China. Skilled with paints, watercolors, and ink, she enjoys creating vivid and colorful characters for young readers. Her passions outside the studio include reading, swimming, and cooking.
