Description

Jorinda and Joringel are happily walking through the forest, but they stray too close to a witch's castle, and fall under her spells. Jorinda is transformed into a nightingale and imprisoned in the castle in a golden bird cage. Joringel is powerless to rescue his true love, until one night he dreams of a magical flower that can overpower the witch's enchantments. Can he find the flower and free Jorinda? Love and bravery triumph over evil in this classic Brothers Grimm tale. The beautiful forest and forbidding castle are compellingly illustrated by Bernadette Watts, perfectly capturing the magic and charm of the tale.
