Description

Jason Wilson is a young science teacher at Castleford Comprehensive School. He is happily married to Maria, who is a part-time artist and librarian. He has an unusual hobby. He likes to visit cemeteries to photograph epitaphs carved on tombstones. He also regularly reads the obituary column in the local newspaper. One day, he receives a threatening email, which is quickly followed by menacing phone calls, a mysterious painting and strange hieroglyphic-like symbols which he has to decipher before his time runs out and something bad happens to him.

Author Biography

Ken Shaw was born in Devon in 1946. He studied engineering at the University of Plymouth and after serving a 5 year engineering apprenticeship he worked in the aircraft industry as a draughtsman, designing tooling for the manufacture of turbine blades for aircraft engines. After two years working in Canada he returned to Devon and worked as an Educational Resources Officer until his retirement in 2001. In 2011 he moved to Gran Canaria where he lives with his wife Olga. After writing: Three Hens in an Orange Tree, a true story about an Englishman's hilarious experiences in Gran Canaria while attempting to live the "good life" on a finca, he was inspired to write a work of fiction.
