Description

The First Fairy Tale: Book II is the second book in a trilogy that creatively tells the story of our beginnings in a way that delights children and parents alike. Everyone has been born, so we have each taken this journey described in classic fairy tales, fables, allegories, legends, and myths across cultures and generations. Now you can share this magnificent journey with those who are actually taking it, those who enjoy hearing it the most and benefit from having their travels acknowledged. Parents can read The First Fairy Tale Book II: The Awakening Heart to their small children--it is really intended to be read to babies while they are still in the womb. Research shows that newborns remember the stories and songs they heard while in utero! They are calmed and reassured by the sound of your voice and the tone of their own story being told with love.

Author Biography

Susan Highsmith, Ph.D. is an educator and counselor residing in Tucson, Arizona. She received her doctorate in Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology from Santa Barbara Graduate Institute (SBGI). She instructs masters and doctoral candidates, lectures at universities, community colleges, and charter schools, and speaks at international congresses addressing consciousness in the womb and the long-lasting effects of our earliest experiences. Susan is a National Board Certified Counselor (NBCC). She holds a Doctorate of Divinity from the American Institute of Holistic Theology, and seeks to balance psychological theory and practice with spiritual and holistic wisdom. Mark Sean Wilson demonstrates his diversity in artwork in Susan Highsmith's "The First Fairy Tale" where his talent in digital art is on full display. Mark has won numerous awards in his first few years with Inkwell productions and hopes his best work is still on the rise. Mark was quoted to say, "An artist is never truly satisfied with his own work and is always ready to break through that next level of creativity. It is nice to reflect, but for only a moment do we like to look back at our body of work. Then it's on to something we hope will break that next level. Susan's story is fantastic and original and I look forward to the sequels to follow." You can see all of Mark's work at: www.markerdoodle.com
