Description

He made an epic promise-and he'll kill to keep it In 1536, the notorious French executioner Jean Rombaud is brought in by Henry VIII to behead Anne Boleyn, the condemned Queen of England. On the eve of her execution, Rombaud becomes enchanted with the illfated queen, promising to bury her six-fingered hand at a sacred crossroads. But in a religious and war-torn Europe, the hand of this infamous Protestant is a powerful relic many will kill for. From epic sea battles to the fortress of an apocalyptic messiah, The French Executioner is a breathtaking story of courage, the pursuit of power and loyalty at any cost.
