Unfortunately its not in english and the subtitles and loud music (which seems to be a big thing these days) all this distracted my attention away from what could have been a good tale… So I didn't enjoy it, I spent most of the time following the dialogue…will try again some day with the volume down.

It's OK but I am not rushing back for a second look

This is a subtitle film. Not that that detracts from the film itself. Great acting with that subtlety which a good understanding of human nature brings but also quite gross and dark in the abuse scenes.

Excellent, absorbing film. Can't wait to see the sequels.

Awesome adaptation of the book. Sure, there were parts missing, but the important stuff was still in there. Well worth the watch even if you've never read the book. Can't wait to see Daniel Craig as Kalle :)

A great thiller and a mind teaser. This film because of subtitles must be watched with full attention . I must admit watching it a second time was a must. Really enjoyed this film.

The movie was great and reading the book first, gave me a better insight to follow the movie as the subtitles have to read pretty quickly.

Awesome movie, after a few minutes I hardly realised I was watching subtitles. True to the book although if I hadn't read the book I think some things would have been a little confusing. I had to explain a few things to my friends who hadn't read the book, but a definite must watch, can't wait for the sequel.

This was such a great movie I forgot to read the subtitles. I got so wrapped up in the story that I could follow it with out reading. I really believe this is one of the best movies I have seen to keep you in suspense and sitting on the edge of your seat. Bring on number two movie

Excellent film adaptation of the book. The subtitles are not a distraction and the tension of the story is maintained through to the end. The two leads were perfectly cast.

After reading the books I was surprised that the movie stayed true to form. Looking forward to seeing the next part of the trilogy.

Great movie – haven't had chance to read the book (which I wanted to do or usually do before I see a movie) but have been told from someone who has that the movie is true to the book. A dark art house type film with subtitles. Some violent parts but all in part of the telling the story.
