Charlotte Fletcher has been surrounded by darkness for too long. Due to the extreme training techniques and torturous childhood that she has endured she has become the epitome of fear and is virtually indestructible. When she awakes to the lies which she was fed by her creator, Victor Fletcher, she sets forth against him seeking revenge. With the aid of Sam Matthews, a young Central Intelligence Agent, they discover the only way to defeat the devil is to play his game. Only one question looms: will she win and reach the white horizons which before seemed out of reach? Or will she fail, and be forever caught in the midst of grey.
Claire Shearwood currently lives in the suburbs of Perth, Australia, where she is completing her secondary education. 'Devil's Game' is her first book; an impressive and entirely imaginative debut. Claire began writing the first installment to 'The Grey Scale' trilogy when she was fifteen. She hopes that the 'Devil's Game' will be the first of many as she plans to go on to study Arts at The University of Western Australia, and later overseas. She has always held great admiration for Audrey Hepburn and Jet Li, evident from her feministic, yet combat savvy protagonist, Charlotte.
