David Taylor resides at Lake of the Pines, near Auburn, California, in the Sierra foothills. He lived much of his life in Orinda, California, in the East Bay Area. He studied at Simpson University before receiving a B.A. Degree from Seattle Pacific University, and an M.A. Degree from California State University, S.F. David served as Assistant Superintendent of the West Contra Costa Unified School District (7 cities along the eastern shoreline of the San Francisco Bay). He also served as a teacher in, and as the principal of, elementary, middle and high schools. He was an instructor for La Verne University, and at the University of Nova Scotia. Later, he served on the staff of Moraga Valley Church, as the administrator, and as a teacher. He has had long associations with Young Life and with Navigators. David Taylor authored this book: The Heritage of America, (Three Amazing Legacies). He wrote another book called The Story of Christianity (Creation to the Present). David is currently writing, teaching and speaking.
