Description

Imagine participating in a technology car race where each automobile was allowed a single laser that could disable your opponent. Katrina Meservier was chosen for the precious few internship positions to help build a race car that would stretch across the country then also won a lottery to aid the driver during the race. But somehow winning these steps to her future career didn't to feel like winning a prize after the race began. What started as a simple technology race became a life and death struggle to stay ahead of those who were hired to stop all but a few race teams. Those were the billionaires willing to murder to allow their entrant to win Richard Bertrand and Katrina Meservier were quite a team. She, an intellectually capable MIT engineer and he, a handsome driver with an ego large enough to barely get him behind the wheel. From the moment they sat in the most advanced car ever built, turmoil lit the fuse on the explosive nature between their personalities. The second the green light screamed for the racers to go, they were at each other's throats. It was a good thing that they each had a special skill hidden behind their bickering. When the bullets started coming their way, their special skills blossomed bringing out a new appreciation for the other. With the mob, gangs, and hit men after them, their talents meshed together like gears in an engine making them unstoppable.
