If You Would Dare Enter the Library of Your Soul The Janus Paradox is waiting... Author Cymbric Early-Smith ignites the imagination with this passionate time travel adventure that weaves a truly timeless romance - born out of nothing less thanthe quantum entanglement of souls. US Olympic athlete Alyse Danilov and RCMP Detective Glen Roderick encounter one time-bending, gut-wrenching challenge after another, as a riptide in the current of Time drags them from the Olympic venues of Vancouver, Canada, to Viking dominated Ireland - and back again. Little do Glen and Alyse know that through a sometimes heartrending kinship of spirit, they have accompanied one another through hundreds of lifetimes. No matter how daunting the journey or how difficult the circumstances; they've always found each other. In one harrowing instant, that extraordinary bond is threatened by the scientists of MURC, as they attempt to force-bridge Alyse into the future. Instead, as she struggles against their nightmarish protocols, she's sent reeling back in time nearly a thousand years - right into the midst of a medieval battle. There she begins to fully experience life in the guise of her soul-kin, Lady AElfwyn Gaerethsdotr... until Alyse is swept out of that time into yet another - one that's even more dangerous - her own. Soon, Det. Roderick will witness the cusp of the 11th century as well, through the eyes of Jarl Hrogn Hroreksson - AElfwyn's champion and kinsman to Magnus III of Norway. Not unlike Roderick himself, Hrogn is fated to follow his destiny - as well as his King - in and out of battle, turmoil, and intrigue. All the while, that riptide in Time is becoming a vortex, sweeping Hrogn and AElfwyn out of their own lives, as they witness a mystifying array of Otherworlds, including that of 21st century Vancouver, BC. With friendships erased, lives destroyed, and loves scattered to the stars, Alyse's struggles against the competition clock are nothing compared to her desperate efforts to 'right' history. But she'll do whatever it takes to save 'her' Glen Roderick - still caught between their original timeline and the dark oblivion of a Time divergence, from whichonly Alyse has yet emerged - with her memories _mostly_ intact..."
