Author Biography:

Jim Simon has written humor books, adult novels, YA novels, television sit coms, and pop culture books. His writings and nonfiction books about comics, their history and their creators, including a book on pulp art, have been published by Marvel Entertainment, DC Entertainment, Titan Publishing, Abrams ComicArts, Heritage Magazine for the Intelligent Collector, and elsewhere. Jim has been interviewed in newspapers, on radio, and appeared in the television movie/documentary, Marvel's Captain America: 75 Heroic Years. He has had run-ins with King Kong's agent. Joe Simon painted the book's cover, a parody of promotional art the movie studio used for the 1976 King Kong blockbuster. Joe Simon was a legendary comic book artist, writer, inker, editor, and publisher best known for creating Captain America. Richard Dominguez is an American comic book artist, illustrator and caricaturist. Best known for creating the popular Latino comic book superhero series El Gato Negro, Nocturnal Warrior. Dominguez publishes his comics through his imprint, Azteca Productions. Richard also is well known for influencing other artists and creators in the pursuit of their own self-publishing ventures.
