Author Biography

Lesley Stanfield and Melody Griffiths have been knitting editors of several magazines and have contributed to even more. Lesley authored the original The New Knitting Stitch Library, a book that continues to reprint 20 years after original publication, and is highly regarded by all skill level knitters looking for unique stitches not found in the Harmony Guides or in other collections. Individually Lesley and Melody have written several books on knitting and crochet, together they collaborated on The Encyclopedia of Knitting which has sold 100,000 copies worldwide. Melody Griffiths lives and works in London. Lesley Stanfield lives and works in Whitstable, Kent.
