Radical Face is the solo project of singer-songwriter, Ben Cooper of
Jacksonville, Florida. His
music is the soundtrack to the Southern Gothic-style tales told throughout his
catalogue,
infused with jangly, folk-style guitar, layers of luscious string orchestration
and syncopated
rhythms.
‘The Leaves’ (featuring the widely-played single “The Road to
Nowhere”) is the third and final
part in ‘The Family Tree’ album trilogy, which centres around the fictional
family, The
Northcotes.
Each song reads like a chapter into the lives of the family, alive in 19th
Century America. The
album was crafted entirely by Cooper, giving the record it’s lush,
textured sound.
