The littlest bear loves to play and explore in the snow - but he wishes he had a friend to play with. His mother warns him to stay close so the wild white wolf can't catch him. Then, when the littlest bear wanders off one night, he stumbles across another little animal who is wild and white . . . and a wolf! Yet maybe he isn't as scary as he sounds . . .

Gillian Shields combines her two passions for books and theatre by writing stories and teaching drama. She takes huge inspiration from her experience as a drama teacher, and has written many picture and fiction books for children of all ages. Gillian lives in Sussex with her husband and two children.
