They can also call to mind how they have listened to hear their grandmothers sing one of the rude songs of that day, of which those heroes were the theme. But the Battle of Bunker Hill, and the succeeding events of the Revolution, threw Captain Lovewell and Paugus into the shade, and they are now only to be heard of on the pages of history.
