I cant help but wonder why they are dragging out the Red John storyline. Obviously it's Jane's mo­tivation (see by the last episode of this series) but I'm a bit sick of it. Also Jane's antics get seemingly more outrageous and unbelievable. I hope the producers pull this at the end of season 4 and let the series end on a high!

Absolutely brilliant! Simon Baker's portrayal of Patrick Jane, couldn't be better! So many laughs, and just that perfect balance of drama ties in together to create a “television masterpiece.” While at times Patrick Jane can be a “pain-in-the-ass consultant,” his constant charm and witty comments make up for it. His interaction with the CBI crew is something really quite awesome to watch; particularly with Robin Tunney's character Teresa Lisbon. Every actor/actress has done a brilliant job of portraying their character, and I am really excited for Season 3!!!!! One of my FAVOURITE Series around, definitely worth the buy; and the watch!!!!

Second season of the Mentalist goes more in depth than the first as we learn more about the CBI teams pasts and Patrick Jane continues the hunt for serial killer Red John who murdered his wife and child, Red John makes a startling appearance at the end of the season.
