This book contains the legends of Robin Hood and his Merry Men. One of the first tales tell of Robin Hood's initial encounter with Little John. As we read on his merry band grows with the addition of Will Scarlet, Midge the miller's son and Friar Tuck. The Sheriff of Nottingham (Robin's arch enemy) is often outsmarted by Robin and his men, and is none too happy when the King decides he wishes to meet the infamous rogue.
