Description

A terrorist group's radioactive explosives cause avalanches which dam the Mikota River and flood the lower end of the Hidden Valley. Tourists and residents are evacuated by military helicopters. The valley is forbidden. A waitress, four children of tourists, and a man are trapped by tons of fallen rock and rising water. The man manages to get them to safety at his farm upriver. His Christianity is challenged as he and the woman forge a family unit working together to protect and train the youngsters in needed survival skills. They desire a Christian marriage but have no clergy. Mikota Indian customs, a Saint Bernard, a puma, a grizzly, and golden eagles also enter into the story.
