Who is CHANCE? He came into our lives on a bright summer day. He didn't come by way of a hospital. And he wasn't dropped on our doorstep by a stork! No. He was flown in on a huge airplane! And we instantly fell in love with our little bundle of joy. Since he arrived he has touched the lives of both young and old. He is called "Sweet Little Man, Little Scamp, and the Little Rascal." But his name is CHANCE. Mila DelaRosa Mila is a nurse by profession. She was born in Lezo, a small town in the province of Aklan, Philippines. She now resides in Northern California. She is a published author of a book of poetry, "When I Fall In Love," a collection of Haiku, Luwa, Tongue Twisters, and Other Poems. Some of her poems were also included in three anthologies by Aklanon/Visayan poets, all published in the Philippines. Writing children's books became her new passion, and in collaboration with a fellow writer, "The Mis-Adventures Of Chance," a series of children's picture book was conceived, written, and published. C. J. Rains C. J. Rains is retired, and resides in a small town in Southern Arizona. She is the author of four books of poetry, including her latest, "Reflections," and her works have been included in various anthologies in the United States and Canada. Since collaborating with a fellow writer to bring about "The Mis-Adventures of Chance," a children's picture book series, she has gone on to publish yet another picture book, "Ladybug! Ladybug!" the first book of her new "Flitter, Flutter, Crawly" series. "Ladybug! Ladybug!" was recently honored with "The 2017 Feathered Quill" for the best illustrated children's picture book, and was a "National Indie Excellence" book award finalist for the best children's picture book cover.
