Nagarjuna's text The Fundamental Wisdom of the Middle Way summarized the vast teachings of the Buddha and used logical reasonings to prove the validity of his words. The Moon of Wisdom presents Chandrakirti's explanation of Nagarjuna's work, focusing on refuting the view that the personal self or phenomena truly exist.
