Description

This book enables its readers, young and old, to take a fresh look at the Bible, with particular emphasis on the events of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is intended to inspire and challenge its readers to stretch their imagination, as they sit in a courtroom and follow the case as it unfolds. There is suspense, intrigue, two sides to an issue, repetition, order and disorder, surprise, and a climactic ending...all characteristics of a good novel. In my spiritual walk with people, I have discovered in them a deep desire to understand the mysteries of their faith. This book gives them a peek into one of the Mysteries that baffles them. This drama, 'The Mystery of the Resurrection,' gives an account of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, but it does so in a unique and different way. It is a courtroom dramatization of the facts. The author wanted to bring the story alive by giving VOICE to some of the people of the Resurrection story, people like Mary Magdalene, Peter, Andrew, The Guard, Lazarus, Cleopas and Thomas, and that was made possible through this dramatization. It is a fusion between fact and fiction, ancient and modern, serious and funny, all the while breathing new life into a significant part of Scripture. Children and adults alike, of whatever faith or religion or denomination (no one is excluded) will discover that this drama will capture their imagination, enlighten their spirits and increase their knowledge of a well-known and spectacular event in the Bible. Everyone is encouraged to open up their own Bible, find the Scripture passages, mentioned this drama, and use them as they read through this inspirational drama on the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Finally, it is becoming increasingly popular, during this twenty-first century, for people to show great concern for courtroom trials. It is a form of education that captures the minds of persons all over the world. High profile cases are the talk of conversations in classrooms, in meetings, in club
