A common thread running through the various chapters is a comparison with previous research on Switzerland concerning the second generation of Italian and Spanish origin. Author Biography:

Dr. Rosita Fibbi is senior researcher at the Swiss Forum for Migration Studies (SFM) at the University of Neuchâtel. Philippe Wanner is demography professor at the University of Geneva. Ceren Topgül and Dusan Ugrina were doctoral students at those Universities. Ceren Topgül and Dusan Ugrina were doctoral students at those Universities.
