Description

No-No Bird's favourite word is NO! In fact, he likes saying it to everyone. NO he won't play with Little Mouse; NO he won't climb trees with Squirrel. Then he meets Snake and learns that Snake's favourite food is No-No Bird. Can No-No Bird escape from a sticky end by changing his favourite word to YES?

Author Biography

Andrew Fusek Peters is an Anglo-Czech author. His family fled the country in 1948 as the Communist Coup was taking place and came to Britain. He is the tallest poet in Britain, plays the didgeridoo and performs his poetry live at festivals. He and his wife Polly have written 30 books and their poems have appeared in 35 anthologies. Their novel Crash was nominated for the Carnegie Medal and shortlisted for the North East Book Award. They live with their two children in Shropshire.Their books for Frances Lincoln are The Falcon's Fury, Roar, Bull, Roar!, Animals Aboard! and The No No Bird. To find out more about Andrew Fusek Peters click here Jim Coplestone studied Graphic Illustration at Exeter College of Art and completed an MA in Theatre Design. His rapport with children has led him to work as a primary school teacher, arts workshop leader and home-tutor and this is apparent in his lively ink pictures.
