A winter day, a Midwest airport closed down during a snow storm: Judith Bijou is among the many passengers stranded in between flights. A woman sits next to Judith. Shortly after, the woman reveals that she has just survived a serious disease. Judith tells her words of understanding. The woman cries and says that nobody has talked to her the way that Judith did, nobody understood her so well what she went through. The woman thanks Judith who tells her that she had a similar experience, once. This happened during one of the time-periods when Judith had put aside this book. The change from this woman's face from devastated to radiant, made Judith realize that she could help other people. This event gave Judith the motivation to re-start her book.
