The present will be found, I trust, a materially improved Edition, not merely in the form of the Work, but substantially in its contents. By having a separate volume for the Clauses and other portions of the Work, to which reference is made in the outline Forms, the preparation of Deeds will, in practice, be much facilitated. The improvement in the type will also be found of considerable advantage. The little inaccuracies in the references, which from the alterations in the progress of the original Work it was scarcely possible to avoid in the ms., and which were necessarily increased in printing from it, are, I trust, guarded against in the present Edi tion; at all events, in order to attain that result.
