Author Biography

Michelle Ellerbe Williams is a native of Laurinburg NC. She is the second and only living child of three children born to Carolyn D. Ellerbe of Hamlet NC and the God Daughter of Rev. Dwain and Patricia Murphy of Grifton, NC. She is currently an Associate Minister of First Baptist Church in Hamlet, NC under the leadership of Dr. Robert Richardson where she serves as the youth minister. She earned an Undergrad Degree in Creative Writing and English Literature from St. Andrews College, Laurinburg. N.C. She earned a dual Masters Degree from Webster University in Human Resource and Managerial Leadership. She has written, directed and produced over nine gospel plays. She paints, draws and she loves to doodle. She is the mother of three adult sons: Artney, Justin and LeQuinton Ellerbe. She has nine grand children; Zalayia, Jamerion, Aailayah, Jael, Skye, Ezekial, Liliana, Gwenyth and Isaiah.
