Permis sion was obtained to place a partially train ed worker in the. General Hospital wards to follow up Protestant cases needing care after dismissal. After one year's work, the Hospital became sufficiently alive to the good accomplished - the saving to the institution and the help to the patients, to undertake the payment of the worker's salary, the church still providing the funds necessary for relief emergencies.
