Description

Willie Dill is a living legend. There is not much about dirty tricks or black operations he does not know, or about staying alive under the worst conditions. Among the many people he trained for Special Forces is an old friend from Vietnam, Sam McKee. Now Sam is putting together a special team to go after a cadre of ranking military officers tied to an Asian drug cartel. Their operations go all the way back to Vietnam and they are killing off witnesses. Sam wants Dill to lead the team to stop them. One member of the team is Martha Johnston, a young hellcat from Wyoming. When she takes Dill down on his own turf the first time they meet, he wonders if it is time to stand down. Yet Martha is a far greater threat than Dill imagines. Not only is there strong chemistry between them, but there is also a secret Dill keeps carefully hidden, even from McKee. When Martha inadvertently discovers the secret of the black seraph, the stage is set for disaster. This is the second book in the Clan McKee Intrigue series.
