Description

The Rock of Ages introduces a world that is headed towards a one world government. The Book of Revelation comes to life in this fast-paced, historically accurate novel. A dramatization of the New Testament Book of Revelation, the Thief in the Night trilogy departs from the much loved Left Behind series in that the characters 'stay behind' willingly. The story is set chiefly in Australia and Israel and tells the story of four friends and their involvement in developments at the end of the age.

Author Biography

Enzo Silvestri, the Italian/Australian author of Thief in the Night, has spent much of his life traveling the world. He says, "No experience is wasted." He was 'bitten' by the travel bug', he says, while on a short trip to his birthplace in Italy as a 26 year old. That was followed by an extended sojourn on a kibbutz in Israel, where he added Hebrew and Spanish to his knowledge of Italian and English. On returning to Australia, he drove a taxi for a living, and eventually ended up at Christian Heritage College, studying for a Bachelor of Arts in Literature, with an emphasis in Biblical Literature. After studying Children's Literature, he turned his hand to writing, and wrote the Tsami & Tsado trilogy. He then completed a B.Ed in Italian & English and an MA in Applied Linguistics at the University of Queensland. He has published three volumes of poetry, and a trilogy of eschatological novels, The Fig Tree, Rock of Ages and Thief in the Night. Enzo has taught at various colleges and universities in Florida and North Carolina, and currently teaches at a community college and a high school in North Carolina.
