Make no mistake, this movie is a must for all Spongebob fans. But for all people who don't really care, you might want to avoid this movie.
This movie is exactly what the title says. A movie based on the Spongebob Squarepants cartoon. To turn a cartoon into a movie, you have to come up with a story twice as big as normal. In this case it resembles the Odyssey. Throw in a boy-man theme and a peanut theme song and you have great entertainment.
However, this is not a good movie. It isn't packed full of clever humour like the cartoons.
What you will get out of this movie is this stuck in your head:
I'm a goofy goober, yeah. You're a goofy goober, yeah. We're all goofy goobers, yeah. Goofy goofy goober goober yeah.
