Author Biography

Andrew Weale is a singer, actor, teacher and author. He was educated at Trinity College, Oxford where he sang for three years in the Christ Church Cathedral Choir, touring the world and making several recordings. After graduating, He trained to become an actor at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and has worked as a freelance actor since 1997. He is a fully qualified TEFL teacher and leads regular 2-day workshops on Presenting in English to International Audiences for businessmen in Germany. In addition to this he has also co-edited The Kenneth Tynan Letters and The Honourable Beast. Andrew is a member of the City Lit Writing for Children Workshop and presents his own work to children in libraries and schools. The Newt in the Suit, illustrated by Margaret Chamberlain is being published in spring 2010 by Hachette. He has several other texts under consideration with Hachette and Andersen. The Spooky Spooky House and A Quiet Day in the Jungle are Andrew's first books with RHCB. Andrew lived in Germany for six years before returning to London, where he now lives with his girlfriend.
