Description

The Story of Self takes the reader on a metaphorical journey of self discovery using color to represent knowledge. Self is born with clear vision but as he begins to be exposed to the world his personal identity becomes clouded by exterior forces. In order to regain clarity he leaves his secure situation and ventures forth to learn about life through interacting with fellow seekers. He comes into contact with Painter who teaches Self how to use the colors. Self rebels again, and must learn an additional lesson gained through humility before he becomes enlightened enough to help others.
