Description

Charming, hilarious and super-inventive comic strip adventures from Gary Northfield, creator of Derek the Sheep. Is it possible to fly to the moon in a bubble of snot? Can you really have an argument with a cloud? Are there bogey monsters at the bottom of the garden? All these questions and more are explored in an hysterical and charming collection of comic strip adventures, following a teeny tiny gang of dinosaurs as they wind each other up and muddle their way through the myths and mysteries of prehistoric life.

Author Biography:

Breaking through from the burgeoning British Small Press scene, Gary Northfield has been writing and drawing kids comics as a proper job since 2002. Famous for his crazy (and creator-owned!) Beano character, Derek the Sheep - a collection of which was published in hardback by Bloomsbury Children's Books (Booktrust Booked Up Picture Book choice 2009 and featured in 1001 Comics To Read Before You Die), he has also created comics for National Geographic Kids Magazine (National Geographic Special Recognition Award 2012), The Phoenix, The Dandy, The DFC, Horrible Histories Magazine, Horrible Science Magazine and The Magical World Of Roald Dahl. Gary loves dinosaurs and one day hopes that, with the profits from this book, he can build a time machine so he can go visit the jolly fellows and see them with his very own eyeballs. Please help him reach that dream. Gary lives in London, SE4. www.garynorthfield.com
