Gearge Pal's masterpiece The Time Machine is as stunning now as it was for audiences during the 1960's,the journey of a lifetime that asks more than just one question as to just how far mankind might go,what makes the original so interesting is the idea's put to the viewer concerning the possible future back when the movie was made. 60's heart throb Rod Taylor gives a brilliant performance as the young Herbert Wells driven to discover just what mysteries may lie in mankinds future, what he discovers is far from what he imagines before his journey begins. For there time the effects are amazing and with the restored soundtrack now in 5.1 surround any collector of classic science fiction should add this to their collection.
