This book is amazing. I highly recommend it. Many secrets are revealed. It will literally keep you guessing until the very last page. There is the mix of excitement and tender moments that we have come to expect from L.J. Smith. No matter which pairing you prefer Elena/Stefan, Elena/Damon, or Damon/Bonnie, there will be something for you. Other characters such as Meredith and Matt also get their fair share of time in the spotlight. There is not much else I can say without spoiling the adventure. In my opinion, this is L.J. Smith’s best book, yet. Unfortunately, this is the last Vampire Diaries book L.J. Smith will be allowed to write. She did not choose to stop writing Vampire Diaries. It was taken from her and given to a ghostwriter. She has fought long and hard to prevent/reverse this decision, but Alloy (the book packaging company) will not budge. However, Phantom will still say “Created by” L.J. Smith. I just wanted to make sure everyone knew the facts.
