The Wait

Academy-Award winner Juliette Binoche gives one of the finest performances of her career in this dazzling and emotionally rich film from the assistant director of The Great Beauty. A mother (Binoche) unexpectedly meets her son's fiancée (Lou de Laâge) in the vast rooms of a beautiful Sicilian villa. She invites her young guest to stay, and as the two women await the son's arrival, they slowly begin to form a connection.
