One of the best TV series ever created and this series is one of the best, great acting and characters that you get emotionally tied to. Also one of the greatest endings to a story arc in the history of tv.
Season Three of The Wire is one of the better seasons of this truly terrific show. But to truly appreciate season three you really have to have seen season one and two beforehand since season three serves as a culmination of many story threads established previously. The pay-offs are worth it.
