Read the first book and you will realise that Rothfuss is one of the greatest fantasy talent to emerge in years. His character development is second to none and you really get a sense of a complete world outside the story.
The humanity of the characters creates that sense of empathy that few authors can capture. It also appeals to boys and girls. If i buy only one book this year this will be it.
If I could sign something saying the above to prove it to you I would. I have been waiting with baited breath.
