Description

It's not easy being a trainee witch. Early mornings, long days, low to no pay, and a definite lack of health and safety provisions. One day you could be tied up trying to cure farmer Poorchick's sick pig, the next you are fighting back an invasion of elves. Fortunately you are not alone, and just when you feel things are as bad as they can possibly be, Granny Weatherwax will appear to give a helping hand.

In this game you take on the role of a young trainee witch, such as Tiffany Aching and Petulia Gristle, travelling across the land of Lancre helping folks where you can and fighting evil and other things as and when they appear. Most problems can be solved with a little headology, but at times you must resort to magic. However, care must be taken as too much magic can lead a young witch to turn “Black Aliss”. You'll be fine just as long as you have the odd cup of tea with a fellow witch.

“The Witches” is the second in the series of games based on the phenomenally successful books of Sir Terry Pratchett. The first game, “Discworld Ankh-Morpork” has sold well over 50,000 copies around the world and garnered glowing reviews from all quarters.

“The Witches” maps out another corner of Discworld, with lots of popular characters, such as the Nac Mac Feegles, Casanunda, Nanny Ogg, and Miss Tick, brought to life by the talented brush of Peter Dennis.
