Phyllis Root is the author of Big Mama Makes the World (9780744573824) and many other award-winning books for children. She lives in Minneapolis, USA.
Helen Craig is the joint creator, with Katharine Holabird, of the hugely popular Angelina Ballerina series, now a popular TV series. An acclaimed illustrator, she also wrote and illustrated The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse, which was shortlisted for the 1992 Nestle Smarties Book Prize. Helen lives in Cambridge.
