This is the essential resource for parents looking for practical and supportive advice about their gay child. Written in an engaging and browsable question-and-answer format, the book guides parents on the many questions they're sure to have, from the deeply personal to practical day-to-day topics. The book also includes firsthand stories from gay kids and parents who have been through the experience. Written by two women who talk to gay kids and their parents every day, questions include: * Is this a choice? * My child wants to come out at school, but I'm concerned for their safety. * This goes against my beliefs, but I want to support my child-how do I reconcile that? * How do I handle sleepovers?
