SUSPENSE AND MYSTERY IN THREE FORKS, KENTUCKY The story takes place in Three Forks, Kentucky. The town of Three Forks is fictional, but Kentucky has many similar communities remaining in the abandoned coal mining country. The story develops around its main character Joyce when she finds out she is half white and half Indian. She is really upset when she finds out that her parents never adopted her. A fact that they'd kept hidden from her. Now thirty-five years later her parents have to deal with the consequences.
