Description

"Puss in Boots" is a classic children's story about achieving success in life by relying on one's abilities and finding value even in the things we first think unworthy. "Little Muck" is one of the most fascinating tales of the German writer, whose character is loved by the children from all over the world. The lively rhythm of the story and the originality of the happenings make this text an educational and passionate reading, stirring the sympathy of the little ones. "The Ugly Duckling" is a tale about personal transformation for the better and a reminder that patience is often necessary to discover true happiness. The journey of the awkward little bird who turns into a graceful swan is an unforgettable survival story written by Hans Christian Andersen, now retold in simple language for the very young children. The coloring book contains also some extracurricular exercises for free time.

Author Biography:

Charles Perrault (French: 12 January 1628 - 16 May 1703) was a French author and member of the Academie Francaise. He laid the foundations for a new literary genre, the fairy tale, with his works derived from earlier folk tales. Wilhelm Hauff (29 November 1802 - 18 November 1827) was a German poet and novelist. On leaving the university, Hauff became tutor to the children of the Wurttemberg minister of war, General Baron Ernst Eugen von Hugel (1774-1849), and for them wrote his Marchen (fairy tales), which he published in his Marchen almanach auf das Jahr 1826 (Fairytale Almanac of 1826). Hans Christian Andersen (2 April 1805 - 4 August 1875) was a Danish author. Although a prolific writer of plays, travelogues, novels and poems, Andersen is best remembered for his fairy tales. Andersen's popularity is not limited to children: his stories express themes that transcend age and nationality.
