Cedric L. Jones writes poetry, drama and the occasional comedy sketch. He is the author of three books of poetry, I Wear the Colour Green, We Whisper and Other Poems, and Today, I Found This Rose. He was the named the 2000 Emerald Theatre Best Play Award recipient, as well as a finalist for the Manhattan Theatre Source 12th Annual EstroGenius Festival. His short plays Verses and Trouble in Paradise were performed as part of the 10th Annual Midtown International Play Festival under the title Bible Stories. In addition to writing, he enjoys acting and performing as the vocalist with the jazz trio Mister Diva & The Gents.
