In Splinter Cell: Conviction you are once again Sam Fisher, you have lost a
bit of weight since Double Agent and Ubisoft has decided to play the this time
its personal card with Sam's daughter being kidnapped by Eastern European
American highly organised criminals.
The journey is a shoot em' up rampage through a rather short game of which
can be completed in a short span of time on only the second playthrough. Fun to
play on Xbox Live but beware of the kiddies who just want to waste your time and
troll the living daylights out of you and your party.
My girlfriend likes to ghost each mission which ghosting means without using
any lethal or non-lethal takedowns, she likes infiltration mode.
I am unhappy that Ubisoft considered then decided mainstreaming Spiinter
Cell more for sales rather than keeping the games true to their humble
beginnings on the Playstation 2. I don't accept they wanted to do this, they
wanted to branch out, there should be no excuse for allowing Splinter Cell
become as good as a hack and a slash whirlwind of a game.
Blacklist should be out in August, hopefully with no delays. I imagine
testing jobs are open for this game and they may not pay rather unfortunately,
but still worth a shot to help out Ubisoft and thus everyone who plays with your
work done to make a good quality game… Check out the official Ubisoft website
but they got a bit tricky all of a sudden and changed their registration
requirements. c]:O)
This game has its drawbacks I mean you throw remote mines and sticky cameras
but if you don't use them there is no way to return them to your inventory you
have to detonate them or leave them there as live explosives. The cover system
is broken in places at times and can mess up your aim when dealing deadly force
to enemy obstacles. The artificial intelligence is laughable at times too the
enemies will just come out of nowhere in to your direct line of fire and get
mowed down.
I am so glad Blacklist will be moving on from a family member being killed
back to national security but now Sam supposedly has a team yet he still does
all the work, just hopeless.
Well we wait with abated breath.
